Holy Family Convent in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, is the Motherhouse and headquarters of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, sponsoring congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity HealthCare Ministry, Inc.
Situated on Silver Lake, three miles west of Lake Michigan, the more than 130-year-old sandstone structure is home for nearly 350 religious women. Congregation members serve throughout the United States and are primarily engaged in education, parish and health ministries.
Silver Lake College, situated next to Holy Family Convent, is also sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity.
